firstly,, i tried this tofu,from the night market-- "pasar malam",, its smells really awful... i thought it was a rubbish dump... and then my "friend" told me it was the smelly tofu.... so... i really forced my self to try this thingy smelly dump...a lot of people was lining up to get this tofu from the chinese vendor,,, finally... its my turn for almost 1 HOUR.... and then, when i tried it, at first.. taste like... "eiwwwwwwww" and then, when you feel the real taste inside.. ohhhhhhhhh... "heavenly made" better taste like DURIAN...atleast.. its worth waiting for 1hr. to get this......
originaly its made from china, just white tofu, preserved in some liquid solutions to ferment it, and then, they cut it and fry it in hot oil.... it goes well with pickled cabbage and chilli sauce...mmmmmmmm...
